As part of its commitment to the “Keep it Here!” effort, Feature Florida Partnerships has agreed to serve as consultant for a series of evergreen film financing funds scheduled for launch in late-2021 and 2022.

These funds are based on pragmatic business principles and designed to attract moderate-budget feature films and limited episodic television productions back to Florida.

The Concept:

Feature Florida Partnerships is committed to the concept of establishing a viable alternative to tax credit or rebate incentive programs through the provision of simple, time-tested lending options. We understand that sustained and predictable motion picture production throughout the state must once again become the norm before Florida can stabilize its filmmaking infrastructure; in the absence of legislative support for state-level incentives, therefore, we have decided to partner in the creation of evergreen financing funds in key regions of the state.

The Team:

Each Fund will have a Production Board that reviews and evaluates projects for potential financing and an Administrator who supervises operations. Here is the team for South Florida Film Fund One.
