Leah Sokolowsky – vice president of production and development
Having worked in film and television production for more than twenty-five years, Leah Sokolowsky has helped shape some of the most memorable and iconic visual images of South Florida that exist in film and television. Leah possesses an extensive network of industry and business connections throughout the State of Florida, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and various other locales, and her extensive experience in project development, negotiations, media relations, strategic planning, permitting, production management, team building, and working with high-profile companies and individuals makes her a valuable addition to the FFP team.
Previous employers include Warner Bros., Disney, Universal, 20th Century Fox, United Artists, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, USA, A&E, Showtime, HBO, Netflix, Amazon and countless independent production companies. Representative projects include “Miami Rhapsody,” “The Specialist,” “Donnie Brasco,” “The Insider,” “There’s Something About Mary,” “Any Given Sunday,” “All About the Benjamins,” “Maximum Bob,” “The Manchurian Candidate,” “Miami Vice,” “The Glades,” “Graceland,” “Ballers,” and “The Irishman.”
Leah currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of Film Florida and has previously served as the organization’s President and Legislative Chair.
